Pay
Top pay rates: CRU48 travel nurses can make top pay. On an eight week assignment with 48 guaranteed hour you could receive a salary in the amounts of $15,360 to $19,200 and higher!
Guaranteed Hours: On every CRU48 assignment you are guaranteed at least 48 hours and on some assignment that number could be even higher. This means you'll be paid your full rate for low-census shifts that can't be made up during your assignment.
Weekly Pay: Enjoy the convenience of having money in the bank every week. No more waiting!
401k Retirement Plan: Enroll after only 90 days of employment, and defer up to 20% of your income, tax-free. CRU48 will match a percentage of your contributions after you've been with us for one year and 1,000 continuous hours.
Placement and Assignments
Quick Start: At CRU48, we make sure our travel nurses are fully credentialed, certified and licensed in the state an assignment is offered before we will submit you as a candidate. This allows us to offer a quick start to the hospitals.
Short Term Contracts: Because we are answering the crisis needs of hospitals, the situations they are facing are often temporary and not census based or leave based. As a result, they are looking for supplemental help for a short time period, from four to eight weeks.
Choice of Locations: Our reliable reputation for providing only the most qualified clinicians under a tight turnaround time has made us the company of choice for top-rated hospitals all across the U.S. Of course, because we are filling very specific needs for hospitals it is important to keep an open mind when looking for your next assignment location.
Bonuses
Referral Bonuses: Word-of-mouth is always our most valuable source of advertising. As a way of saying thank you for helping us represent so many talented travel nurses we offer a generous $500 referral bonus. Once the person you referred completes two weeks of his/her first assignment, we'll send you a check.
Completion Bonuses: These bonuses are assignment based and are paid when you complete the entire length of your contract.
Insurance
Free First-Day Health, Life and Dental Insurance with Prescription Coverage: Day in & day out, while you care for others, you can rest assured that CRU48 will have you covered with the best group insurance plan on every assignment. We provide you with major medical, preventative diagnostic and basic dental coverage, and life insurance on the very first day of your assignment. Plus, our insurance is portable, so you can take it with you if you decide to leave. And if you already have insurance through your spouse that's fine too - you can choose to receive a fixed benefit payment each month instead of insurance coverage.
Dependent Health, Life and Dental Insurance: Qualified dependents can receive basic coverage for an additional fee. All dependent coverage charges are deducted monthly from your paycheck, on a pre-tax basis.
Free First Day Accidental Death and Dismemberment and Free Professional Liability Insurance: This important coverage is free for all CRU48 travelers.
Short-Term Disability and/or Cancer Protection Supplemental Coverage: If you're unable to work as a result of a non-work-related injury or illness this optional coverage* provides income.
*We make adding optional coverage simple by deducting premiums monthly from your paycheck on a pretax basis.
Continuing Education
Continuing Education: Keeping up with the necessary ongoing education that is mandatory for nurses is not easy... especially when you're on the road. That's why CRU48 has partnered with a nationally recognized provider of continuing education. The learning materials we provide are ANCC accredited, which means they will be accepted wherever you travel. Best of all, our resources are offered 24/7/365 through e-learning - perfect for the travel healthcare professional.
